Calder Talk Shifts to Henrique

Standard Spin: We've all heard it before: "Rookies in the West don't get as much attention as players in the East."  Sure, there is no missing Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Edmonton's superkid #1 draft pick who is collecting points like a veteran superstar.  But, now that RNH is injured and won't be back for up to 4 weeks, all Calder Trophy talk shifts to New Jersey's Adam Henrique who, of course, plays in the East.

2 more points on Friday mean Henrique is up to 30 points on the season in 37 games.  Henrique has been mighty consistent all year and he will likely overtake RNH for the rookie scoring lead sometime in the coming 2 weeks.  If he can avoid injury, there is a very good chance that he could also begin to dominate the Calder Trophy discussions.  Needless to say, ride him in your rookie slot for as long as he will last.
