Clemmensen Runs Record to 8-2-5

Standard Spin: After missing the first 13 games of the year due to a knee injury, Scott Clemmensen has become the go-to-guy in Florida while number one netminder, Jose Theodore, recovers from his own injury woes.  And, with Clemmenson the Panthers have not missed a beat.  He's now 8-2-5 on the year following another win on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets.  Clemmensen is a real option between the pipes for fantasy owners who need a stop gap - especially those who would otherwise be relying on Theodore.

Game Note: Kris Versteeg scored his 20th of the season on Friday, his 3rd goal in the last 3 games.  He appears to be regaining the touch after going the previous 9 games without a goal. (2/4/12)
