Chara's Goal Lifts Bs Over Caps
(4/17/12) It's been a surprisingly tight series between the Bruins and Capitals, as neither team has led any game by more than a goal through three contests. The first two games went to OT, and things were headed that direction again before Zdeno Chara broke a 3-3 tie with goal on a shot from the point with less than two minutes left in the third period. Chara also had two assists for a three-point night.
Paille, Rolston, and Peverley scored the other tallies for the Bs, while Laich, Ovechkin, and Semin lit the lamp for Washington.
