Standard Spin: Michael Del Zotto recorded two more assists on Friday and now has 5 points in his last 5 games, and 13 points in his last 14.  He is also third in the NHL with a +22.  Del Zotto was an afterthought at the end of last season, after spending a portion of the year in the AHL, but the Rangers were short at D going into 2011-12 and Del Zotto has stepped up to fill the roster spot.  We expect more good things for Del Zotto in the new year.  Of note: Andrej Meszaros (1G, 1A), Matt Carle and Dan Girardi all collected points in the game.
