Update: Larsson Out, Henrique still Day-to-Day

Standard Spin: Devils defenseman Adam Larsson was helped off the ice Thursday after being on the receiving end of a big hit from P.K. Subban.  According to NJ.com, Larsson is dealing with a bruised lower back, although we've seen other reports that Larsson injured his knee.  Watching the video, the back injury seems to be most likely, as it's clear that he falls and twists awkwardly into the boards.

Update: The NJ coaching staff has confirmed that the injury is a bruised back and the NY Post has confirmed that he will not play Saturday.  While Adam Henrique continues to be listed as day-to-day with his current groin strain.

In other game notes, teammate Danius Zubrus took a spot on the top-line filling in for another injured Devil, Adam Henrique, who is nursing a sore groin.  Zubrus took advantage to post a three-point night (2G 1A), and he could be a decent play for next week if Henrique misses more time.  (2/2/12)
