Bishop Arrives in OTT

(2/26/12) With Craig Anderson out indefinitely due to an accidental hand injury, the Ottawa Senators were forced to shore up their goaltending situation via trade on Sunday.  The team has acquired former Blues' third stringer Ben Bishop in exchange for a second round draft pick in 2013.  Bishop is expected to compete with Rob Lehner for the back-up job, with Alex Auld moving into the starting position.

Generally speaking the entire goaltending situation in Ottawa is now fairly uncertain.  The move indicates that the franchise does not trust Auld all that much.  Bishop will probably see some action in the coming weeks, and even Lehner is expected to see a game or two.  The fantasy recommendation is to steer clear of this quagmire altogether, unless a clear-cut starter and winner emerges.
