2012-2013 Rookie Rankings

(7/13/12)  Fantasy Hockey Standard is proud to bring you its 2012-2013 NHL Fantasy Hockey Rookie Rankings.  From Nail Yakupov to Mikael Granlund to Sven Baertschi and beyond (far beyond), the 2012-2013 Regular Season Draft Guide provides comprehensive rankings in full profile format of fantasy hockey's Top 35+ rookies heading into training camp.

hese ratings aren't just a run down of the prospects for each NHL team, nor are they a review of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft; our top 35 freshman must qualify as rookies according to NHL rules, look good to make the opening day roster, and have a shot at collecting decent points through the season.

Our editorial feature "Rookie Ratings" dives deep into the NHL's emerging rookie trends.  Where should fantasy owners look, what should they be looking for, and who's going to be the best come April 2013?   Analysis of these trends allows us to offer concrete strategy advice for fantasy GMs looking to lock up a Calder candidate on draft night.

This year the draft guide will be a live document, updated through the preseason, so not only will you receive our pre-camp rankings, but you will also receive our rookie rankings when camp breaks, and again at the end of the preseason.

The draft guide will be available on August 13th.  For more information, click here.
