Kreider Scores First NHL Goal

(4/24/12) A lot of fantasy owners are excited about the outlook for Rangers forward Chris Kreider, who was called up for the playoffs to add some scoring depth to the New York roster.  Kreider was the Rangers' first round pick in '09 (19th overall), and he's known for his blazing speed that he combines with his great size - 6'3", 230 pounds.

If your playoff pool allows free agent pick-ups, Kreider is worth a look if the Rangers escape into the second round.  He's still a rookie and this is his first taste of the big leagues, so keep your expectations in check, but he's an intriguing option as rosters are whittled away, and he's definitely a name to make note of for next year.

Kreider scored his first NHL goal last night, and there are sure to be more to come.  Check it out...
