Shhhh... Perry About to Hit 30 Goals

(2/18/12) Corey Perry has been on the fantasy hockey side burner for most of the season, but he scored his 29th of the year in a 3-2 loss to Martin Brodeur and the NJ Devils on Friday.  Ever so quietly, Perry is ready to strike the 30 goal plateau for the third time in the last 4 years.  He is currently tied for 4th in the NHL in goal scoring and, if last year is an indication of what can happen, Perry looks primed to reach the 40 goal mark again in 2011-12.  Perry is currently on a 4 game goal scoring streak in which he's netted 6.

The beneficiaries of this up-tick are clearly going to be Perry's offensive teammates: Selanne ("The Ageless Wonder"), Bobby Ryan,  Ryan Getzlaf (4 points in his last 4), and Jonas Hiller - even Koivu and Blake.  The Ducks are currently 7 points back of 8th place and we are getting a strange sense of deja vu around here.
