Taylor Hall Cut by Skate - Misses Game

Standard Spin: Tic-tac-toe.  Three Oilers' phenoms, three freak injuries, and countless fantasy owners wondering what the heck is going on in Edmonton.  Taylor Hall was the latest victim of the curse Tuesday, tripping over the faceoff circle and into Ladislav Smid during the pre-game warm-up.  The pair tumbled innocently to the boards, but Corey Potter couldn't avoid the pile-up and attempted to jump over his fallen teammates, accidently catching Hall in the face with a skate - check out the video below...

Hall did not play in the game and is now considered day-to-day.  By the sounds of it, the wound was luckily superficial, so Hall should get stitched up and be able to get back in action right away.  Edmonton's next game is Thursday against the Blues: check for an update prior to game time... and maybe drop into a "Tebow" and pray for the fantasy Gods to go easier on the Oilers.  (Jan.18)
